Applied Kinesiology or muscle testing is a very gentle method of asking the body questions to help uncover what best would support it. It is a proven and well used technique by medical professionals. It can help find out if someone may need additional support through nutritional supplementation or homeopathy for instance. This can be offered if symptoms are perhaps more persistent or longer-standing and not responding to the more traditional physical approach.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is tried and tested system of medicine within the eastern and, more recently, western setting. It aims to promote and maintain good health by affecting the body’s natural energy systems.
Acupuncture stimulates points along the energy channels by the insertion of small needles, aiming at the root cause of your condition. It is used by trained Physiotherapists for effective pain and spasm relief. By enhancing the energy flow, known as qi, it also supports the mental and emotional sides to recovery, such as stress, anxiety, frustration and tiredness.
A series of sessions is usually most beneficial. Your needs would be discussed with you and more information provided as required.
Correspondence is made with your GP or other named professional given your consent to do so.
